The Blur Increases
My Dearest,
The days have blurred, has it been a day since last I wrote? A week? A month? All sense of days have been lost and I fear they will not return as our exile continues. The daily reports have recently announced that our dear cousins in the state of Virginia can expect their isolation to last until June. Meanwhile, the governor has decreed that the formal educational year shall end post haste, yet all students shall be promoted next year. Yet, the decree is that we shall continue our distance learning, though thus far few students have shown any commitment to their education and a mere handful have completed any of the assignments.
The daunting task of creating such engaging and detailed lessons revised to be delivered through distance learning systems and apparatus seems like a futile effort given the present situation. Perhaps revisions to our standards and expectations will make this effort more worthwhile.
Such pointless exertion leaves me exhausted and requires I rest and recuperate.
I remain yours,
J.H. Berry
