My Darling, As we complete our third week of isolation, my attention has turned to our preparedness for future disruptions in our supply reserves. Thus far we have been quite resilient in our inability to instantly procure additional foodstuffs. At worst it has been a mild inconvenience, which given the circumstances I would say has been rather successful. However, I fear that some future disruption may be far more severe and perhaps in a more extreme situation, we would not have the proper supplies to weather the storm. As such, I have begun to devise strategies for more extended emergencies. At times this causes me to feel that such considerations are extreme and overreactions. However, our current predicament and the calamity that is unfolding as a result of the ineffectual responses by the national government indicate that a more drastic situation would be far more grave than our current situation.
